Shoplifters

Osamu is a day laborer. When he and his son, Shota, come home from shoplifting in the supermarket, Osamu finds a little girl named Yuri who is shivering from the cold in an alley. Osamu takes her home with them. Besides Osamu and his son, his mother Hatsue, his wife Nobuyo and his sister live together in the house. They plan to return Yuri to her original family, but Yuri rather choses to change her name and appearance to stay with the Osamu family. Even though the family is poor, they live happily. Until one day, an incident changes everything.
